Whatever you’re good at, camps can use it.
As a Durham University Women's Rugby Club member, you already have a route in. We’ll help match your experience to the right camp, then support you through the application, placement and journey to camp.
Lifeguard
Lifeguarding demands strong swimming ability, alertness and responsible decision-making around the water. No current qualification is required.
Swim Instructor
Swimming instruction requires strong technique and adaptable coaching to help campers of all abilities develop confidence and improve in the water.
Fitness Instructor
Fitness instruction requires relevant experience, energy and creativity to motivate campers of all abilities and build fitness, confidence and healthy habits.
Ball Sports
Ball sports coaching requires adaptable sessions for varying abilities, helping campers develop skills, confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship.

I had an amazing experience working with Skilled Summers. This year, I went to Camp Chipinaw working as the weights instructor. Camp homeward bound is certainly like no other . Magical sunsets, magnificient nature, beautiful lake and great souls to meet. I had the best travel experience around america. Watched miami sunsets, hiked in west virginia and the new orleans ghost tour. Skilled summers helped me with every step.They were there to answer every question and they always make sure everythings is alright. I even had my t shirt delivered to camp.
