As a qualified Physical Education teacher, you will be well sought after by camps looking for those to fill positions that carry a large amount of responsibility, particularly within the athletics or sports field.
With your teaching experience, you will be an invaluable addition to camp staff, potentially even being considered for a position on senior staff who oversee the running of camp as a whole, including all activity areas.
Your role will include the teaching of:
Experience teaching young children and/or teenagers a variety of sports
Experience in creating lesson plans in a variety of sports areas
You may also have additional coaching experience in another area, such as the waterfront. This will strengthen your application further.
Preferred Experience or Qualifications:
Physical education teaching degree

Languages Teacher is very popular. The USA is a multi-cultural country and with neighbouring countries that speak French and Spanish as first languages.

The USA is a multi-cultural country and with neighbouring countries that speak French and Spanish as first languages, becoming a Languages Teacher is a popular staff requirement for many camps.
Some camps are joined by campers who’s first language may not be English so helping other campers to better their language skills will increase communication and camaraderie with campers of all backgrounds.
If you are passionate about cultural immersion and would love to better your own language skills while helping campers to do the same, then this is the role for you.
Your role will include the teaching of:
Teaching basic language skills to campers
Helping campers develop their skills, such as by relating to camp surroundings to help campers retain information, using games/songs
Creating lesson plans and objectives
Campers may have the opportunity to showcase their new language skills in an end of session talent show!
Preferred Experience or Qualifications:
Advanced experience in speaking another language, but not fluent
